Ever since my father handed me his old 35mm camera as a little kid, trusting me with the family vacation photos, I knew that what I wanted to do is create images. And while moving images and the language of cinema was what I later fell in love with, photography has always been there, a close second, allowing me to express myself in capturing a moment, testing my cinematic skills or just having fun. To this day, the still image is the first I look after and the one that instinctively pops into my mind when I'm observing the world around me. The frustrating hunt for a moment of truth has always been at the forefront of my art and photography is the exhilarating catharsis in that area. One that I shall always cherish.
