Dimitris Poulos (aka d/poul) was born in New York City, the son of Greek immigrants. From an early age he showed great interest in image-making but it wasn't until studying at the infamous New York Film Academy that he was certain that filmmaking was his true call. After receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Arts at Brooklyn College, he directed award winning short films and worked in commercials and music videos. His first feature film "The Prophet" premiered at the 2013 Thessaloniki International Film Festival and subsequently played in movie theatres all over Greece and abroad. Currently he is in the pre-production stage of his second feature film.
